The Wing Institute is the sole owner of the information collected from our website. We do not, or will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in our privacy statement below.

When you join the Wing Institute Knowledge Network, the Wing Institute collects three kinds of information from you:

1. Personally identifiable information, which is information that either personally identifies you or allows others to contact you. The personally identifiable information collected by the Wing Institute includes your e-mail address because your e-mail address is used to communicate vital Wing Institute Knowledge Network account activation information. The Wing Institute may also collect other personal information, such as your name, title, and company.

2. Non-personally identifiable or "demographic" information, which by itself does not identify you or allow others to contact you. The non-personally identifiable information that the Wing Institute collects may include, but is not limited to, your country, state/region, ZIP/Postal Code, telephone number, and mailing addresses. 

3. Personal Interest information will be collected and used to manage personalization on the Wing Institute’s Knowledge Network Web Site. This includes personalization for providing content, access to other users, and developing communities on the Wing Institutes' Knowledge Network Web Site.

When Signing In

When you sign into the Wing Institute’s Knowledge Network Web Site, the Wing Institute will ask you to provide your username and password.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the visitor's hard drive containing information about the visitor. The Wing Institute uses cookies whenever you sign in. The cookie allows you to access the Wing Institute’s Knowledge Network Web Site without having to sign in again on each page.

advertisers, merchants, or any other third party who are not a part of the Wing Institute Knowledge Network. Some personally identifiable information such as name may be shared with other members of the Wing Institute Knowledge Network.

Surveys

From time to time, The Wing Institute seeks information via surveys. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and postal address) and demographic information. Survey information will be used for the purpose of improving the use and satisfaction of this site and related Wing Institute information.

Email List

After registering for a Membership, you are given the choice of unsubscribing from our email list. You can unsubscribe at any time. All information stored in our database is not shared or sold to any third party who is not part of the Wing Institute Knowledge Network what so ever. Subscribers wishing to unsubscribe to our email list by emailing optout@winginstitute.org

The Wing Institute Forum

As a user, you agree to any information you have entered in your profile being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party who is not part of the Wing Institute Knowledge Network without your consent, the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.


Changes of our Policy

If and when our policy statement changes, visitors with Memberships in our databases will be notified of the changes, and provided a link to this page to view the changes. If a visitor decides that our policy does not benefit them, they can use the opt-out option at anytime.
